Artisan Northwest An advance of the Artisan Northwest article, "Self-Portrait", written by Barb Coyner, beautifully laid out by Chris Bivins with six of my paintings, arrived last week. Nine hundred words and four pages. Newsletter exclusive Sneak Preview!
Anyone interested in getting on the mailing list for a complimentary copy please let me know asap. Should still have time to submit an amended mailing list. Look for the article in the spring '06 issue toward the end of March. This is a high end arts publication.
More on the Trip to At some point every
artist must travel to Italy. The second week will involve driving in the crazy Italian traffic to visit artist Jerry Fresia who lives in an old Castle on the shores of Lake Como, a school in Siena, and the hill towns of Tuscany. Cinque Terra, the "Italian Riviera" is also on the list...five small towns clinging to the hillside as it plunges to the ocean, all within walking distance...no cars allowed.
BISSETT WINS POSTER CONTEST FEB. 7TH Selected from several dozen entries by local artists, Robert Bissett's painting, "Birches at Twilight", has been chosen to illustrate the poster for Timber Stand Gallery's First Annual Plein Air Paintout.
